Front End Alignment
Your alignment is one of the most over-looked maintenance items on your vehicle. Usually its only checked and adjusted when a problem is noticeable, but that means the damage to your expensive tires has already been done!
The alignment of a vehicle has a lot more to do with your vehicle than just making the vehicle go straight down the road. You can also have a vehicle that goes straight, and still be out of alignment.
Signs of your alignment being out of specification can include:
- Pulling to one side
- Wandering back and fourth
- Rapid tire wear
- Uneven tire wear
- Lower than normal fuel mileage
- Steering wheel not centered
- Poor handling
Most manufactures and tire companies recommend having your alignment checked once a year. This will help ensure you're getting the maximum life from your tires, and a vehicle that handles the way it was designed.
Northwest Automotive offers 4-wheel thrust alignments using our state-of-the-art Hunter Alignment machine.
