If you are looking for a shop with righteous, honorable owners and workers, this is the place to visit. They are straightforward, no nonsense, do it right people that seem genuinely to care . I am from out of state and shortly after arriving in town, I noticed a coolant leak on my 2000 Land Rover Discovery. I wasn’t too pleased to discover the leak or that I was more than 4 hours from a Land Rover dealership as the Rover had only been maintained by Land Rover since it was first purchased. Dreading having to go from shop to shop to have the issue fixed I came across Northwest Auto. I didn’t have an appointment, but was in town and stopped by the shop to ask about my coolant leak. After a few minutes, the owner said they could get it on the lift and check it out. I am thoroughly pleased and glad to have found Northwest Auto. Everyone from the receptionist to the technicians to the owner was kind, genuine and helpful. They listened, discussed, and provided ideas to a solution without trying to sell or charge for unnecessary fixes. The technicians showed and informed me about all they could regarding the issue and then they showed an issue that needed to be fixed. None of us was certain it was the actual issue causing the coolant leak, as there are multiple things that could have caused the leak. Therefore, the owner won’t even allow me to pay for the hour of service I received until we determined if they had fixed the issue. Each day after, I checked and no coolant leak. It seemed to be that they fixed the coolant leak. I was more than pleased to return to the shop, pay for the services, and inform them they fixed the coolant leak in addition to providing superior customer service for any business but most certainly a service shop. Overall, this was the best shop experience. They are real people that really care.
