Water Pump Replacement
The water pump not only keeps your engine from overheating, but it keeps your toes from freezing! The water pump circulates coolant (antifreeze) through the engine and the heater. A failing water pump can not only leave you in the cold, but it can cause major damage to engine due to overheating.
The best thing you can do to care for your water pump is to make sure to replace the coolant in your vehicle at the manufacturer's recommended time and/or mileage.
If your water pump is timing belt driven, it should be replaced any time the timing belt is changed.
